Electrical Control Panel manufacturer in the Birmingham area currently has openings in Engineering for Mechanical Engineers or Designers. Would prefer someone experienced with CAD to design and layout 11 gauge steel for control panel enclosures.

Qualifications for this position include:

• - Design and layout of control panels detail drawings for fabrication
• - Design of drawings for cutting steel panels on laser cutter
• - Ability to check and test detailed drawings
• - Ability to learn operation of laser, press brake, milling machine, etc.
• - Ability to manage project
• - Must have excellent PC skills
• - Microsoft Office Product experience
• - Prefer AutoCAD experience but will consider other CAD experience
• - Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
• - Excellent communication skills
• - Ability to work as a team member or a team leader
• - Minimum high school degree/GED required/prefer engineering degree
• - Deadline and detail-oriented
• - Entry to 5 plus years experience
