This role focuses on developing, reviewing, and modifying complex design systems, ensuring all configuration documents conform to appropriate parameters and ANSI codes.Note: Nuclear experience is NOT required. This is an excellent opportunity for a local industrial designer with strong MicroStation and AutoCAD skills to enter the energy sector.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assist in the preparation of modifications for Plant Design Change Packages.Gather and organize engineering data from design documentation to develop Design Change Notices (DCNs) and Bills of Materials (BOM).Utilize AutoCAD (ACAD) and MicroStation for civil/mechanical design projects.Apply knowledge of P&IDs, Isometrics, and flow diagrams to project deliverables.Participate in site walk-downs to verify field conditions and provide input for cost/material estimates.Maintain technical accuracy regarding structural specifications, pipe specifications, and ANSI codes.Qualifications for SuccessTo best support our engineering team and the vital operations at a nuclear facility, our ideal candidate will possess the following background:Location: MUST BE A LOCAL CANDIDATE residing within commuting distance of Tonopah, AZ. No relocation assistance is provided.Educational Foundation: A High School Diploma or GED, complemented by at least two (2) years of college or technical school coursework in CADD or a related technical discipline.Professional Experience: 3–6 years of proven experience in a design environment, specifically within Civil or Mechanical disciplines.Technical Expertise: Proficiency in both AutoCAD (ACAD) and MicroStation is essential.Compliance & Safety: Due to U.S. Export Control Laws, all applicants must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).G.D.
