We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design and be proficient in various design software and be experienced in HVAC Systems Design. This role involves creating detailed schematics, drafting designs, assembling components for various projects, and collaborating with engineers to ensure that designs meet project specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Design and documentation of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Ensure compliance with ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and client specifications. Review drawings, load calculations, and equipment selections for accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate design activities with other disciplines (architectural, electrical, plumbing, structural). Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, schedule, and deliverables. Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals. Follow QA/QC procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality design deliverables. Stay current with HVAC design trends, sustainable design practices, and new technologies. Interface with clients to clarify design intent and address technical concerns. Work with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to evaluate products and obtain specifications. Experience HVAC Systems Design: 5 years (Desired) Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design/load calculation software (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trace 3D Plus). Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, energy efficiency, and mechanical codes. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
