Job Description Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical Engineer I We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer for a contract position. This role is part of the Hardware Test Engineering team, focused on next‑generation robotic system design. The ideal candidate will bring electrical experience and problem‑solving skills to improve test execution capabilities while working with hardware development, program management, and other test team members. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Test Engineers, Hardware, and Software developers on testing tools and techniques. Develop test plans under the guidance of a senior engineer. Troubleshoot electrical and control issues. Design test subsystems and prepare documentation. Execute tests and acquire test data. Collect test data and document test artifacts and conditions. Troubleshoot electronic devices under test. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required. Experience: This role requires 0‑2 years of industry experience in testing hardware. Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. Experience with board‑level/SMD soldering. Experience with cable assembly and bring‑up. Proficiency with standard electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, data acquisition devices, digital multimeters, and signal generators. Ability to understand and execute documented test procedures. Experience in circuit‑level debug to the component level. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment. Experience executing simple scripts. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $27.00 and $37.00 per hour. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
