Location: Lexington, NC Responsibilities Lead automation initiatives for furniture production processes Take conceptual needs from leadership and develop automation solutions from scratch Conduct research, define project scope, and translate into designs Use 3D CAD (SolidWorks) to create fully functional models Present designs to leadership with cost estimates and build readiness Must-Have Skills & Experience SolidWorks (5–7 years) with deep proficiency in: Weldments Ability to create Sheet Metal Design 2D Drawings with Dimensions FEA Simulation: Analyze CAD models for stress and pressure points Custom Machine Design & Automation experience across any industry AutoCAD: Considered a strong plus Compensation $90,000 - $100,000 Annually Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
