Our client is seeking a highly creative and hands-on Mechanical Engineer to lead the ideation, design, and prototyping of innovative consumer products within the pond, lake, and aquatics market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering and product development, bringing concepts to life from early sketches through functional prototypes. Key Responsibilities: Drive end-to-end product development, from concept ideation to prototype and validation Design and engineer consumer-facing products with a strong focus on usability, durability, and performance Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and product teams to refine and execute designs Develop and iterate on prototypes, incorporating testing feedback and design improvements Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements Qualifications: Proven experience designing and developing consumer products Strong portfolio showcasing ideation, design process, and working prototypes Hands-on experience with mechanical product design , with working knowledge of electrical systems/components Ability to move quickly from concept to prototype in a lab environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail This is an onsite role based in an R&D lab, requiring regular hands-on prototyping and testing #J-18808-Ljbffr
