Key Responsibilities:
- Develop multi-disciplined designs, from conceptual to final, including cost estimates and schedules.
- Review and provide scope documents; assess A&E engineering designs.
- Analyze asset failures using reliability tools.
- Examine contractor proposals, construction documents, and ensure adherence to jurisdictional requirements.
- Update design standards and operational procedures.
- Strategize on both short and long-term infrastructure planning.
- Support maintenance for utility system upgrades/repairs.
- Oversee building automation system upgrades.
- Engage in technical committees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years in:
- Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Leading engineering teams.
- Using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
- Familiarity with codes like NFPA, IBC, UPC, WSEC, and ASME.
- Preferred:
- 5+ years in mechanical engineering.
- Expertise in industrial building systems: HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, fire protection, etc.
- 3+ years in mechanical design and analysis.
