Job Overview:

We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Mechanical Engineer ready to launch their career in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to develop a deep understanding of CNC machining, process engineering, and Lean Manufacturing on the shop floor. You’ll gain exposure to all phases of the manufacturing lifecycle—from raw material selection to process design, execution, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate directly in shop floor operations, starting with running production and performing inspections, then progressing into CNC setup and machining.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of complete manufacturing processes, including:
    • Raw material selection
    • Tooling and fixture design
    • Process planning
    • Inspection plans and verification
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including:
    • CNC process optimization
    • Gage design and fabrication
    • Robotic cell operations
    • Lean Manufacturing practices
  • Collaborate to maximize machine output while upholding high standards of quality, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Follow best practices as defined by our AS9100 Aerospace Quality System.
  • Apply core manufacturing engineering concepts such as Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) on real-world production parts.
  • Document processes, tool life expectations, and logistics to ensure quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or working towards your degree!)
  • U.S. Citizenship (required)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a strong company culture
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving ability and a desire to understand and improve manufacturing processes
  • Flexibility and reliability in managing shifting workloads
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing fundamentals and a desire to learn by doing
