Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead detailed mechanical design of precision motion systems, tooling, and fixturing
- Own all phases of equipment design, build, vendor coordination, and debugging
- Provide hands-on mechanical support for installation, start-up, and debug of manufacturing equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, controls, facilities, IT, and operations
- Independently develop engineering solutions to complex mechanical problems
- Verify equipment builds and layouts against engineering drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (mandatory)
- Minimum of 10+ years of mechanical design experience
- Strong background in precision engineering and machine design
- Ability to support on-site installation and debugging at R&D and factory locations
- Experience working with vendors and resolving equipment build or installation discrepancies
