Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC Design and Modifications. This position is not for entry-level candidates but is ideal for individuals with substantial experience in mechanical engineering and system design.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems, including HVAC, centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems. You will also perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blueprints & Technical Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineers and other personnel to implement procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical guidance.
  • Design Evaluation: Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess feasibility, costs, and maintenance needs.
  • System Modifications: Specify components or direct modifications to ensure systems meet engineering specifications.
  • Product & System Development: Research, design, and maintain mechanical products, systems, and processes using engineering principles.
  • Drafting Support: Assist drafters in creating structural designs using CAD software.
  • Feedback & Troubleshooting: Provide feedback to design engineers regarding customer issues and recommend design modifications to avoid malfunctions.
  • Installation Oversight: Supervise installation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure systems function as intended.
  • Testing & Prototyping: Develop and test models to evaluate alternative designs and processing methods.
  • Production Coordination: Oversee production, including selecting manufacturing methods and fabricating product designs.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software and drafting procedures
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, regulatory agencies, and business leaders.
  • Proficient in writing clear and concise reports and presenting information to management or boards.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to work with concepts such as probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Proficient in applying mathematical concepts like fractions, percentages, and ratios to real-world situations.

Physical Demands:
