The role consists of HVAC Engineering design and Plumbing systems.In this role, you will:Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, and layout of duct and piping, while ensuring compliance with engineering specs.Design plumbing systems, including capacity calculations, piping layout, and project specifications.Participate in design reviews and workshops.Resolve complex design issues, such as conflicting requirements or challenging field conditions.Research design options and document findings for the team.Ensure designs comply with codes and standards.Coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines as needed.You will need to have:B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering4-8 years of consulting engineering experience with emphasis on HVAC and plumbing systems design for healthcare, laboratory, commercial, municipal, institutional and government facilities and higher education facilitiesRevit, BIM, Trane/Trace, IES VE Title-24 2022 1.1, Energy Pro 9.3, CBECC 2022 3.1, and Microsoft Office skills requiredPreferred Qualifications - (A plus, but not required)Professional Engineer registration a plusKnowledge in building control systems desiredThis position won't be available for long, if you have the relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.
