They must have a strong understanding of mechanical components, feature analysis, and product development. Experience with CAD design is required, and CAM knowledge is a plus. This role also involves working on the shop floor to troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues, ensuring high-quality production outcomes. About the Role Responsibilities Design & Drafting : Create, modify, and optimize product layouts using NX and other CAD tools based on customer specifications and engineering best practices. Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) : Apply and interpret GD&T standards to ensure manufacturability and compliance with design requirements. Feature Analysis & Product Testing : Assess design feasibility through tolerance analysis, FEA, and prototyping. Troubleshooting & Shop Floor Support : Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify and resolve issues related to machining, assembly, and quality control.
