Opportunity to grow as the company grows.Job DetailsFunction:Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgement in designing and making adaptations and modifications to equipment such as hoists, winches, and cargo hooks.=============================================Duties:Responsible for equipment design and developmentProE 3D complex modeling 3D to 2D decomposition, application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Produces specifications and outline design.Reports preparation/design reviewsManages projects using engineering principles and tecniquesRecommends modifications following prototype test resultsDefines test programsPerforms stress analysis, trade studies, failure analysisPlans and designs new production processesMechanics of material .May supervise or coordinate the work of draftsman, technicians, engineers, and others assist in specific assignmentsAssist in sustaining engineering projects and activities.Performs electrical and interconnect design as requiredCreates technical reportsPerform special assignments asRequired Qualifications:Must be able to work independently but take direction from Technical LeadB.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent .Advanced and demonstrated capability of Pro ENGINEERMiniumum of 5 years professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably mechanical systems/ rotating machinery (transmissions, mechanisms, clutches, gears, drum s, cabling involved in hoisting and winching equipment in an aerospace environment)Interested in hearing more?
