2 – 5 years of proven experience in mechanical design, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and/or R&D.Good knowledge in the converting and or process industry with a strong background in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineeringProficiency in the use of the latest versions of the following software packages or equivalent: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPointExperience in AutoCAD, any version (required)Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their direct impact on the final product as well as the associated business influencesWorking knowledge of SPC, Design of Experiments (DOE), Measurement Systems Analysis, and statistical hypothesis testing.Working knowledge and experience with product and process validation methodsWorking knowledge and experience with risk assessment and risk mitigation techniques.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate in oral and written forms at any level within the organization and interact effectively with customers and external business professionals.Ability to prioritize activities and to remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
