Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative engineering team focused on delivering innovative, high-quality mechanical solutions. In this role, you will lead projects from concept through production, ensuring designs meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and partnering cross-functionally to bring complex equipment to life.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design efforts from concept, design, and validation through production release
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design consistency, quality, and adherence to best practices
  • Support system-level design activities, including layout development and equipment integration
  • Design and specify mechanical components such as gearboxes, bearings, motors, and structural elements
  • Create detailed drawings for assemblies, weldments, installations, and modifications
  • Release and manage engineering documentation through ERP systems
  • Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to troubleshoot and resolve design issues
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support project requirements and execution
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to new product and process innovation

  • Projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Designs are accurate, manufacturable, and meet quality standards
  • Strong collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and project teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or manufacturing
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and 2D drafting
  • Experience working with ERP systems is a plus
