The role blends technical engineering with project management responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Oversee construction and building projects (large-scale preferred)Manage reporting, budgeting, scheduling, and safety inspectionsCoordinate with internal and external stakeholdersProvide mechanical engineering support through design, testing, and commissioningRespond to RFIs and participate in project meetingsSupport in corrosion control, seismic upgrades, and hazard abatement (a plus)Electrical engineering knowledge and Civil Works experience are strong assetsQualifications:Mechanical Engineering degree or backgroundStrong project management and communication skillsExperience with federal/government or military construction projectsAbility to work remotely and conduct weekly site visitsElectrical engineering experience is a big plusBonus: Experience with dredging, shoreline protection, and flood risk management
