This role is ideal for a technically strong ME who has some experience designing/managing complex mechanical and facilities-related projects.Role OverviewThe selected candidate will function as a technical project lead, providing mechanical expertise while managing scope, schedule, and contractor performance for facility and infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical oversight of Building Management Systems (BMS). Thorough understanding of programing and operations of the BMS.Act as the Government’s mechanical subject matter expert and project leadManage mechanical-focused projects from planning through execution and closeoutProvide technical oversight of HVAC, plumbing, piping, utilities, and building systemsReview and evaluate contractor submittals, RFIs, schedules, and change proposalsConduct site walks, coordination meetings, and progress reviewsTrack project schedules, costs, and risks and provide regular status reportingCoordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural stakeholders as neededRequired Qualifications3+ years of professional experience with increasing project responsibilityStrong hands-on experience with mechanical building systems and Building Management SystemsDemonstrated experience managing contractors and project deliverablesAbility to work onsite at a secure federal installationStrong written and verbal communication skills
