Seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager with 7+ years of experience and demonstrated project management responsibility to support a federal facilities program at Picatinny Arsenal . This role is ideal for a technically strong ME who has progressed into managing complex mechanical and facilities-related projects. Role Overview The selected candidate will function as a technical project lead , providing mechanical expertise while managing scope, schedule, and contractor performance for facility and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Provide technical oversight of Building Management Systems (BMS). Thorough understanding of programing and operations of the BMS. Act as the Government’s mechanical subject matter expert and project lead Manage mechanical-focused projects from planning through execution and closeout Provide technical oversight of HVAC, plumbing, piping, utilities, and building systems Review and evaluate contractor submittals, RFIs, schedules, and change proposals Conduct site walks, coordination meetings, and progress reviews Track project schedules, costs, and risks and provide regular status reporting Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural stakeholders as needed Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional experience with increasing project responsibility Strong hands‑on experience with mechanical building systems and Building Management Systems Demonstrated experience managing contractors and project deliverables Ability to work onsite at a secure federal installation Strong written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
