Typical Duties:
Developing relationships with client's preconstruction managers
Analyzing RFP's for potential projects to bid
Formulating budgets from narratives, scopes or other documentation
Keep Estimating software updated
Training additional estimators
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years' experience
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- Strong Communications skills including interaction with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Proficient in the use of AutoBid Trimble
- Technical knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems
- Code proficiency in both trades
- Excellent analytical abilities which provides them the skill to take a project from a written narrative and limited information to a budget price
- Evaluate and understand technical documents
