In this team-oriented and collaborative mechanical engineering role, you will play a key part in a project team and will engineer pressure vessels, perform code calculations and stress analysis, and assist with system commissioning. Client Overview A growing and profitable privately held organization that specializes in the design and commissioning of custom process systems With an installed base of more than several thousand process systems in dozens of countries, this company is a global leader that combines years of expertise with proprietary design, operating data and state of the art software modeling to offer dependable solutions for clients Experience and ability to handle complete systems and turnkey installations with project scope ranging from process development, engineering studies, equipment supply and commissioning Position Overview Responsible for applying customer design specifications and in developing equipment standards Help coordinate project design and direct drafting team members in developing general arrangements and outline drawings Audit fabrication shops, review fabrication quotations and drawings, and inspect fabrication sites as needed Prepare ASME code calculations and perform stress analysis Participate in commissioning to ensure that system meets contract requirements Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical 1-5 years experience with ASME section VIII code pressure vessel calculations ideally using Compress Proficiency with AutoCAD Proficiency using CEASAR for pipe stress analysis is a plus Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10%-20% Ability to work in a cross-functional oriented setting Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills Compensation & Benefits Hybrid work from home, work from office flexibility 401K plan with company match Competitive group benefits and insurance Career development and growth opportunities Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions.
