Quality “Plus” Services (QPS) is a respected design-build construction and engineering company known for delivering high-quality industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Mechanical Project Manager to lead and manage mechanical projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical projects—ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality goals are met.
• Coordinate with clients to determine scope, objectives, and performance requirements.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Oversee the design, layout, and installation of mechanical systems including structural steel, piping, and equipment setting.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, subcontractors, manpower, and vendors.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with design, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Review and manage project documentation: contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and reports.
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders and leadership with regular updates.
• Identify potential risks or delays and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure adherence to industry codes and company standards (ASME, ASHRAE, OSHA, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE license a plus….or 20 years’ experience in construction Project Management.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in industrial or commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes.
• Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Excel) and design software (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• PMP certification or similar project management credential is advantageous.
