About the Role

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program offers an extensive paid training in the Maintenance Technical field. Participants seeking an exciting career with Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering (RME) as a Maintenance or Controls Technician gain valuable skills through a combination of 12 weeks of classroom instruction and on-the-job learning that prepares them to join our account for a world-class leader.

What Youll Do

    • Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
    • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
    • Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
    • Track and store department inventory.
    • Cultivate positive working relationships with RME business partners and Operations Maintenance team members.
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

What Youll Need

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to attend a 12-week in person paid training at a designated training provider.
  • Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
