A MEDIA PLANNER is responsible for developing and implementing strategic media campaigns across all channels, effectively reaching target audiences and achieving client business goals. Key Responsibilities Media Planning Identify target audiences and understand their behaviors and media consumption habits to enhance campaign effectiveness. Develop comprehensive media plans that align with clients' objectives, including selecting the best media mix to connect with the target audience. Present media proposals, including timing and costs, to help clients reach decisions about their advertising strategy. Coordinate the launch of advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with creative strategies and client specifications. Analyze and monitor media campaigns to evaluate their effectiveness, adjusting when necessary to optimize performance. Allocate and manage budgets, negotiate with media vendors for the best rates and placements. Stay informed about industry trends and developments in media to innovate strategies and tactics. Maintain strong relationships, present campaign proposals, reports, and analytics to stakeholders. Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in an agency environment or related field. Knowledge of media platforms, social media, and data analysis. Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying. Proficiency in MS Office/GSuite, including aptitude for statistics, math and essential spreadsheet skills. Familiarity with media research tools and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics, Nielsen). Detail oriented, resourceful & self-motivated. Ability to manage multiple projects and requests from numerous groups. Negotiation and problem-solving abilities are essential.
