We are a fast-paced growing practice that is always looking for new talent and great employees to enhance our team.You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:Compensation is $24.00 per hour.ResponsibilitiesSupports management and leadershipHandle all administrative duties in a timely mannerEMR (Electronic Medical Record) data entryObtaining vital signs on each patientAssist physician with gathering patient historyEnsures patients are prepared for their planned procedures including proper education, follow-up plans and post procedure instructionsDraft preliminary reports and letters for the physician through the EMR systemPresent reports and letters to physician for revision and final approvalGreet patients and escort them to the exam roomsFit and measure patients for compression stockingsTake before and after pictures of patientsAssist with the preparation of medications and filling syringes, as permitted by state lawEnsure that rooms are stocked accordinglyAssist the Ultrasound Tech with the ordering of all medical suppliesClean and prepare roomsAssist with room and tray set up for patient proceduresPrepare and maintain charts for new and existing patients. Verify that all information is correct and up to dateGeneral administrative duties as directed by Office ManagerConfirm insurance benefits as noted on patient chartDemonstrating knowledge of schedulingStrong organization with attention to detailAnalytical problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as a team memberQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMedical Assistant Certification (CMA) preferredPrevious experience in healthcare administration or other related fieldsStrong organizational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
