As a Medical Assistant, you will handle a variety of responsibilities, including taking patient histories, preparing examination rooms, assisting healthcare providers during examinations, and performing basic laboratory tests. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, medical records, and patient follow-ups.
  • Provide patient education on preventive healthcare and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
