We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time, Medical Assistant at Gastroenterology Group of Northern New Jersey (Cliffs) in Englewood Cliffs, NJ .

The Medical Assistant Responsibilities are:

• Cover front desk and provide assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms.
• Obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls.
• The Medical Assistant requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.

The Medical Assistant must have the following qualifications and experience:

• High School graduate or GED required
• 1 to 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required
• EMR experience - Athena, ECW, Epic preferred
• Certified graduate of Medical Assistant Program preferred
• Certification in E-prescribing preferred
