Pride Health is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant to join our team in Golden Valley, MN. This is a Full-time Direct Hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, a stable schedule, and the chance to work with one of the state’s leading healthcare systems. LPN’s are also accepted for this role!

Responsibilities:

• Communication with the health care team related to progress, concerns, questions or problems that arise are an essential element of the Medical Assistant role.
• Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of customer flow throughout the clinic.
• Tasks include standard rooming processes, giving immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by the provider; and performing laboratory specimen collection as needed. Dependent upon the specialty and clinic location.
• Provide telephone support Facilitate communication between customers and providers.
• Assist with prescription refills.
• Perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam.
• Perform phlebotomy duties.
• Perform clinic laboratory tests.
• Front desk/check-in support.
• Ordering and stocking supplies.
• Assistance with prior authorizations.

Required Qualifications:

For Medical Assistant:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) or RMA program with certification.
• Previous clinical setting experience.
• Current BLS Certification.

For LPN:

• Active Minnesota LPN license.
• Previous clinical experience.
• Current BLS Certification.

Additional Information:

• Location: Golden Valley, MN 55427
• Schedule: 40 hours/week - Days - 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Pay: $22.23/hour - $25/hour For Medical Assistant’s. *Higher pay for LPN’s

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
