Salary: $28,300 - $35,000

The Medical Assistant is a key member of the clinical support team, providing excellent customer and patient service. The role involves preparing and maintaining patient records, assisting patients during their visits to the clinic, supporting physicians, nurses, and other providers, and ensuring optimal patient flow. The Medical Assistant will also help with patient care as directed, contributing to a high-quality, efficient clinical environment.

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, updating medical histories, and assisting with examinations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide patient education and respond to patient inquiries.
• Assist with basic patient care tasks under the direction of the healthcare provider.
• Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and answering phones.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Must be registered with the State of Wisconsin.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a healthcare clinic setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
