Medical Assistant – Merrick, Long Island

We're looking for an experienced, self-sufficient MA to join our private practice team in

Merrick, Long Island


What You'll Do

  • Room patients, record vitals, and document chief complaints in EMR
  • Assist providers with procedures, injections, wound care, and EKGs
  • Administer medications and vaccinations per provider orders
  • Handle phlebotomy, lab specimen prep, and result follow-up
  • Manage referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refills
  • Triage patient calls and portal messages
  • Mentor junior MA staff and help keep clinic flow running smoothly
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the provider


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of clinical MA experience in an outpatient or private practice setting
  • CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification preferred
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • BLS/CPR certified
  • Proficiency with EMR Systems


Compensation: $25–$35/hr based on experience
