Responsibilities Our Neurology & Sleep Physician Practice in Holyoke is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to perform duties within the scope of responsibility of a medical assistant with additional tasks related to patient flow in the office. Duties include, but are not limited to, escorting patient into the clinical area, taking vital signs and documenting them in the patient record; obtaining history of the current visit and documenting information in the patient's record. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent; successful completion of a Medical Assistant school with ABHES or CAAHEP accreditation; must be registered/certified within six months of hire with one of the following: RMA/AMT, CMA/AAMA, or CCMA/NHA; ability to read, write and communicate in English.
