This position supports physicians and providers by preparing exam rooms, assisting with in-office procedures, managing clinical supplies, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support: Prepare and set up for in-office procedures and patient appointments. Assist providers during exams and procedures as needed. Fit patients for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), inserts, and shoes. Place orders for orthotics and shoes as directed. Equipment & Room Maintenance: Sterilize instruments and maintain the autoclave according to manufacturer guidelines. Turn over and sanitize exam rooms between patients. Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and organized daily. Clean and maintain office equipment; promptly report repair needs to the Regional Supervisor. Licensure & Compliance: Maintain active x-ray assistant licensure as required by state regulations. Ensure all patient consent forms are accurately completed and documented. Inventory & Ordering: Complete inventory checks and enter supply orders for approval. Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate clinical supplies are on hand. Administrative Duties: Verify that patient information is accurate and up to date in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to support a cohesive patient experience. Qualifications Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred. Valid and active x-ray assistant license (if applicable). Previous experience in a medical office or outpatient clinical setting. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology. Excellent verbal and written skills. Additional Requirements Ability to lift or move equipment and assist patients with mobility needs. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
