Medical Assistant – Podiatry Office (Multiple Locations)
We are a large, fast-paced podiatry practice with multiple doctors and four office locations, currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (Required)
- ECW (eClinicalWorks) / EMR experience (Required)
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent people skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle 20+ patients per day
- Charting experience is a plus
- Experience in orthopedics or podiatry is a plus
- Foot and Ankle experience preferred
- Student/Nursing home-only experience will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate patient-related information with the physician
- Accurately take notes during visits and update electronic health records
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure effective patient care
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professionalism
- Provide excellent patient interaction and bedside manner
- Demonstrate advanced computer, organization, and multitasking skills
- Thrive under pressure in a high-volume clinic setting
