Medical Assistant Apply
Job Summary:
This is a 13-week contract position for a Medical Assistant with orthopedic experience. The role involves providing comprehensive orthopedic care, including diagnosis and treatment of injuries and conditions related to the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot, and ankle, as well as emergency orthopedic care. The Medical Assistant will primarily be based in Tarzana but will be required to cover the Mission Hills location as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic injuries and conditions.
- Casting, splinting, and bracing of patient injuries.
- Covering the Mission Hills location when required due to call-outs.
- Performing data entry into electronic medical database systems.
- Documenting patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Performing selected patient registration activities.
- Coordinating equipment/supply needs and notifying the appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
- Performing any other related duties (e.g., clerical, technical duties) as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
