In this role, you will support providers by preparing patients for visits, assisting with clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring timely coordination. You will also help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
This position requires travel between our three locations: The Villages, Wildwood, and Clermont. The Clermont location operates on a rotating schedule among Medical Assistants, with coverage every Monday and Friday, and one Thursday per month.
Hours: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM, except Fridays: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, attention to detail, prior medical office experience, and an eagerness to learn and grow in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities
- Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts, reviewing notes, and setting up exam rooms and medical equipment
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with basic medical care and procedures
- Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and exam rooms after use
- Answer phones and respond to patient questions, identifying visit needs appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments
- Call in or send prescriptions, referrals, and follow up on lab results
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and restock as needed
- Perform general medical office duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment
- Willingness to travel between office locations
