Job Title: Medical Assistant - PRN

Location: Towson MD

Duration: 8+ months with possible extension

Schedule Hours Possibility : Expect an average 2 shifts per week (Full Shift)

Job Description:

Provides assistance to the physicians in the preparation for and examination/treatment of patients.

Prepares patient to be seen by the provider by obtaining patient history, taking vital signs, and assisting with coordination of care.

Handles patient flow.

Prepares examination room, cleans and sterilizes instruments per protocol, administers medications, reviews preprinted instruction sheets with patients, and other medical duties as assigned.

May perform general office duties.

Job Requirement

Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

Requires a BLS/CPR certification.

2+ years of experience

Skills:

Providing Injections and phlebotomy experience required

Education:

Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Requires a BLS/CPR certification.
