This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical support, documentation, and coordination of care in accordance with physician directives, company standards, and established policies.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical SupportDeliver high-quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic communication.Assist with patient examinations, treatments, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedures.Support physicians and nursing staff with:InjectionsEKGsPhlebotomyOther clinical procedures as directedPatient Intake & DocumentationCollect, verify, and document patient information including:Vital signsChief complaintsMedication and allergy reviewsHealth risk screening informationExtended care benefits and service statusMaintain accurate, concise, and complete documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and paper-based records as required.Document all patient interactions, assessments, procedures, phone calls, and messages.Care Coordination & Administrative SupportCoordinate patient care under physician direction and in compliance with company policies and standards.Assist with daily operational tasks, including phone calls, patient messages, and follow-ups.Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and care team members to ensure continuity of care.Infection Control & Room PreparationPrepare, clean, and reset patient rooms according to established clinical protocols.Set up and maintain instruments and equipment while adhering to infection control and safety standards.Required QualificationsCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant ProgramBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), or willingness to obtain by date of hireMinimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
