We are hiring a Medical Assistants for one of our clients in Jacksonville, FL.

Job Description:

Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting.

• Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Phlebotomy skills as well as administering IM and Subcutaneous injections
• Ability to administer and read accurate blood pressure testing
• Interviewing patients and obtain a complete medical history
• Ability to keep accurate records
• Distribute prescribed medications
• Effective communication skills.

Work environment:

• Open workstation and clinical area

Dress code:

• Scrubs, preferably Navy Blue

Computer software:

• Health Management System (HMS), Microsoft Office

Educational requirements:

• Must have Medical Assistant Certification (include certification copy with submission).

Work Hours:

• Mon Fri, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
