Akkodis is seeking a Development Engineer for a contract job with a client in Warsaw, IN. We are looking for an entry level Development Engineer in the medical device industry. Responsible for the design, development, and processing of implants and instruments under the direction of a project leader or manager. Good communication, teamwork and organizational skills are essential. An understanding of human physiology and joint mechanics is required..Salary Range: $36.00/hour to $38.00/hour. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Development Engineer job responsibilities include:· Experience with Windchill or VaultDesigning for manufacturability, inspectibility, and cost-effectiveness· Developing prototype models to evaluate innovative design concepts· Coordinating product evaluations directly with surgeons· Creating comprehensive testing and analysis protocols· Preparing detailed design assurance documentationDesired Qualifications:· A strong understanding of human physiology and joint mechanics· Close collaboration across teams and with key stakeholders· Familiarity with drafting standards and geometric dimensioning/tolerancing· Participation in surgeon development meetings· Identifying user needs and translating them into effective solutions· Establishing processes that meet both performance and quality standardsIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
