company Veterinary Care is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care in the form of Urgent & Primary Care Clinics, and we're looking for a ROCKSTAR Clinical Medical Director to join our team, and help us provide the ABSOLUTE BEST medical care to our patients.

What you'll do as a Clinical Medical Director:

Provide pet parents a positive and supportive experience to ensure they know their furry friends are being taken care of
Lead the Medical Operations of a designated clinic and act as the Lead DVM on the clinic's floor
Support the development of our medical procedures and standards of care across the network
Act as the Lead DVM on the clinic's floor
Actively participate in hiring and training of new team members
Mentor, coach and empower the clinic team to deliver the best care possible to our pets and their parents
Experience a diverse caseload ranging from GP to Urgent Care patients
Embrace and spread the company culture with our core values centered in all you do

Who you are:

You have a DVM / VMD degree with an Illinois state veterinary license in good standing
You have at least 5 years of experience in general medicine and / or surgery
You have successfully led veterinary teams in the past
You're excited about working with a team that is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care and offering pets the best care possible whenever they need it
You are effective at managing multiple tasks simultaneously including delegation, prioritization, and taking responsibility
You're passionate about providing the best possible pet care, always striving to be a better doctor and to help the team and clinic grow in capability and care
You're a collaborative team player, who thrives in fast-paced environments and prioritizes a great work culture

What Really Catches Our Eye:

Previous experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and dental procedures
An entrepreneurial mindset
Previous experience launching a new veterinary clinic

What company will provide you**:

Competitive base salary with a total compensation package ranging from $145,000 - $200,000
