Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, seeks a detail-oriented Medical Clerk to support their medical administrative team. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience with healthcare documents and records. This position is onsite 5 days a week and is a contract-to-hire role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and maintain patient records, files, and medical documentation
  • Process insurance forms and assist with billing paperwork
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with physicians and medical staff
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide administrative support
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and all regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization ability


• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with medical records in a healthcare facility.
• Proficiency in filing and document scanning.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with various departments.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
