Medical Lab Tech Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dependable, professional Medical Lab Tech to join our Laboratory Services team. Key Responsibilities Receives patient specimens, verifies proper collection, performs requested procedure(s), performs all necessary documentation accurately, prepares appropriate reagents as required. Analyze appropriate controls, instrument checks, calibrations, and maintenance. Perform STAT and urgent orders in an appropriate time frame. Review results, proficiency testing, quality control, calibrations, and other appropriate information for certification of results. Qualifications / Requirements Associate degree — medical lab science, or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent. An annual influenza vaccine required. Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.
