• typically work 12 :00 -10:30pm or 6am to 4:30pm. They would work both shifts as needed.

This individual is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results. Testing performed will include waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. Results of all tests performed will be reported following established procedures. Participation in quality control procedures, compliance with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agencies is required. Specimen collection may also be performed as necessary.

• They require that all candidates have a 4 year degree, even if an MLT.
• MT: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university; or Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
• At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
