As experts in healthcare IT experts, Apex is committed to building systems for healthcare organizations to seamlessly communicate and exchange data across different systems and devices.Summary: The Medical Materiel Specialist II shall include but are not limited to working independently (single location sites) and management oversight of other onsite contractor staff, coordinating logistics activities with other base organizations, units, and government agencies, ensuring the overall readiness and availability of unit ECMM to include general medical materiel management and warehouse activities.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGXConduct monthly reviews, and provides monthly reports to the COR, of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program complianceContractor also functions as Logical SLEP coordinatorConduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and complianceTrack and document the usage of medical materialsAssist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipmentThe position is designed for a Medical Materiel professional with a skillset critical to performing program management and oversight, effective communication at all levels, integrated collaboration, and strategic readiness reportingWork independently at single-location sitesProvide management oversight of onsite contractor staffCoordinate logistics activities with base organizations, units, and government agencies.Ensure overall readiness and availability of unit ECMM (Expeditionary Contingency Medical Materiel), including general medical materiel management and warehouse activitiesServe as the vendor-contracted Air National Guard (ANG) Influenza Program Manager, responsible for logistical oversight and management of the influenza vaccination programAct as the focal point between the Surgeon General and ANG Medical Groups regarding the influenza programPerform program management and oversight of medical materiel operationsCommunicate effectively at all organizational levelsCollaborate in an integrated manner with stakeholdersProvide strategic readiness reportingPerform other duties as assignedNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Minimum Qualifications:Associate's Degree or higher or eight years of medical logistics field experience with six years of specialized medical materiel management experienceMinimum 8 years of medical logistics field experience with six years of specialized medical materiel management experience. Specialized experience shall include general supply activities, ordering, receiving, customer support, inventory management, assemblage management, warehousing, and operation of various materials handling equipment. The specialized experience shall be in a healthcare or healthcare support environment or setting. Must have experience in using and running transactions in the MMISMust be able to pass client background screening for security clearanceTravel may be required for this positionPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in a related field, preferredPay and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $27.86 to $34.82 per hour.
