Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in Farmington Hills, MI, for a Medical Office Receptionist. The candidate will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and supporting the daily administrative operations of the medical office. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining office organization and providing exceptional service to patients and visitors.


Qualifications

  • Proficient in Phone Etiquette and capable of handling patient inquiries effectively and professionally
  • Experience with Appointment Scheduling and efficient calendar management
  • Strong skills in general Receptionist Duties and front desk management
  • Knowledge of Medical Office processes and systems
  • Familiarity with Insurance Verification procedures and understanding of related documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and systems, including electronic medical records (EMR)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical office administration are a plus
