In this vital role, you will manage patient records and provide administrative coordination to support our healthcare operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational abilities, and is proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in the coordination of office activities and patient scheduling.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients to gather necessary information.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records and documentation.
  • Handle incoming inquiries regarding medical records and patient information.
  • Support the transition to digital record-keeping and assist in the maintenance of EHR systems.
  • Prepare medical records for clinical audits and quality assurance processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in health information management is a plus.
  • Experience working with medical records, EHR systems, or in healthcare settings is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a remote working environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, especially HIPAA, is a significant advantage.
