Medical Scientist Associate US Medical Affairs (Hybrid Lawrence Township, NJ)
We are seeking a Medical Scientist Associate US Medical Affairs for a global pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing the targeted therapies medical strategy including promotional review. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for contributing to the advancement of the thoracic portfolio. This individual must display excellent communication skills in dealing with internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
This is a 40-hour per-week, 6-month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite role in Lawrence Township, NJ.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:

Critical review and recommend changes to promotional materials/activities to ensure balance of the messages, medical accuracy, and appropriateness of the content of the materials/activities in accordance with relevant guidance

Responsible for providing input and advice to conduct the review of promotional materials for scientific/medical validity

Support execution of the US Medical Affairs plans in coordination with the Global Medical Affairs and other cross-functional teams

Represent US Medical Affairs as a therapeutic area expert in both internal and external venues including the US and Global cross-functional teams

Support various Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups

Collaborate with Medical Affairs field colleagues to guide and execute therapeutic regional strategies and tactics with appropriate use of resources

Participate in internal and external meetings (training, educational, and other matrix meetings) to remain current on ever changing regulations, relevant new medical/scientific information, and strategy

Strong leadership and organizational skills with demonstrated success in driving optimal business results in a complex matrix organization required
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical practice or the pharmaceutical industry.

Strong scientific acumen and excellent communication skills is required.

Prior promotional review experience preferred.

Thoracic & Emerging Tumors Home Office Medical Team

PharmD, MD, PhD is required
