Job Description Details Job Summary Provides social work services and interventions across the continuum of care. Education Position requires a Master’s in Social Work from an accredited college or university. Registration/Certification/Licensure Maryland LCSW, LCSW-C or LMSW. (If LMSW, obtain independent practitioner license within 2 years of hire or transfer date.) If licensed in a state other than Maryland, eligible to apply or be endorsed for licensure in Maryland. Experience Two(2) years social work or related experience is preferred. Experience with oncology social work is preferred. Other Requirements Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice. Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction as a daily practice. Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills necessary to effectively complete documentation requirements. Previous experience and demonstrated professionalism in effectively communicating with customers and in promoting a positive service atmosphere. If LMSW, participates in supervision per licensure requirements. Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent projects, meet deadlines, follow through with deliverables, and produce quality work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
