Key Responsibilities

Credentialing and Compliance:
- Coordinate the credentialing and recredentialing process for medical staff.
- Verify medical licenses, certifications, and references to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.

Medical Staff Support:
- Serve as a liaison between the medical staff and administration, ensuring effective communication.
- Assist in maintaining updated and accurate records for medical staff appointments and reappointments.

Committee Coordination:
- Organize medical staff meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with bylaws, policies, and procedures related to committee operations.

Data Management:
- Maintain and update the credentialing database with provider information.
- Generate reports for audits and internal reviews.

Administrative Excellence:
- Provide administrative support to medical staff leadership as needed.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to medical staff processes.
- Proven experience in medical staff coordination or credentialing in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards, including Joint Commission and NCQA requirements.
- Proficiency with credentialing software and databases.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
