Title: Medical Supervisor
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Flint, MI
Salary: $65K to $70K with benefits

Job Duties:

Core Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

  • Lead and oversee the medical team
  • Lead and oversee all pods
  • Create new policies and process in response to barriers or weakness in the current process
  • Create individual goals for residents & staff
  • Complete performance evaluation based on written expectations
  • Support emergency medical situations in real time
Training
  • Conduct trainings for new medical coordinators & floats at hire and on an ongoing basis
  • Train on new policies
  • Evaluate competencies on existing processes and coaching for performance improvement
Auditing
  • EMR
  • Scripts
  • Cart audits
  • MAR
  • Appointment records
  • Discharge summaries
  • External medical records
  • PRN usage
  • Cheat sheets
  • Daily Support Meetings (DSMs)
  • Follow up recommendations across all disciplines
Miscellaneous
  • Set up new homes
  • Oversee move in process for new clients
  • Accept calls during on-call rotation
  • Complete Pop ups in the care homes
  • Collaboration with upper management team
  • Complete and analyze the Performance Improvement Team (PIT) data
  • Support the infrastructure of the medical team through pharmacy and software
  • Be flexible and committed to work the hours and times required to perform the responsibilities of the job, including evenings and weekends as necessary
Effective Teamwork & Communication
  • Maintain a positive, open relationship with all management and staff
  • Utilize all communication tools including FIN
  • Maintain and advocate for all Flatrock residents' rights
  • Complete any additional tasks assigned from Clinical Director
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in a medical related field
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in medical related field
  • Ability to supervise a multilevel department
  • Ability to multitask in a high stress, dynamic environment
  • Experience in mental health with MI and DD (Preferred)
