Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Medical Support Assistant in support of the Wewoka Indian Health Center located in Wewoka, Oklahoma. This position provides services as a “floater” medical support assistant based on the needs of the clinic and may support multiple departments through-out a pay period. We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employee’s knowledge, critical thinking, innovative solutions for our clients.ResponsibilitiesReceive high volume of telephone calls and messages and utilize knowledge of organizations, programs, operations and procedures to make proper disposition of inquiries.Establish or clarify nature of calls and information requested.Take messages for departments or direct the caller with urgent matters to appropriate staff while observing rules of confidentiality.Assess and interpret varying situations to determine proper action to take and must assess conditions and situation over the telephone or via audible alarm system in order to provide proper response. May be responsible for greeting customers or clients, scheduling appointments, assist in calling and scheduling vaccinations and testing, preparing documents, and entering information, and other administrative duties such as opening and sorting mail and performing basic word processing tasks.May be required to create and manage records using computer software.Other duties as assignedQualificationsHave graduated from high school obtaining a diploma or an equivalent GED.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Have good communication and people skills.Have good work ethic, being punctual and working the days scheduled to work.Have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
